Trillium Publishing was founded in 2003, with the goal of gathering together the best people in the industry to create exceptional literacy products—people with years of experience behind them, both in creating quality educational materials and in using them in the classroom.

The word trillium comes from the Greek word tria, meaning “three.” Sunny Gagliano, our president, chose this word for three reasons—because of the uniqueness and simple beauty of the word, because trillium happens to be her favorite woodland flower, and because it symbolizes the solid foundation of a three-pronged approach to business and product development.
